Irena Fomenko- Master Aesthetician, RN, Boulder Aesthetics & Intimate Wellness (BAIW) Owner
Irena Fomenko's skills, education and experience allow her to enhance the natural health and beauty of each client. Irena Fomenko is a true healer and artisan who has spent her life understanding the mind-body-spirit connection. In her practice Irena incorporates multiple modalities to serve each client's unique needs. For over 25 years Irena has treated thousands of loyal clients in the Boulder area by rebuilding their image, body and soul. Her clients are her friends and family and you feel it in her service

Irena has advanced skills in delicate and precise aesthetic treatments such as injections, electrolysis, micro-needling and permanent cosmetics. She is trained and certified with the Cellular Medicine Association to perform their trademarked Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures of O-Shot®, P-Shot®, Vampire Facelift®, Vampire Facial®, Vampire Breast Lift® and Vampire Hair Restoration®. She is proud to be one of the first to offer these exciting treatments to the Boulder area. Irena is also a lifetime member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.
In 1995 after arriving from Moscow Irena opened her first aesthetics business in Boulder. She has Nursing degrees from both Russia and the US and has worked as a practitioner in a variety of medical settings. Over the years Irena has continually educated herself on the newest and safest procedures. In 2020, to celebrate 25 years of business, Irena changed her business name to Boulder Aesthetics & Intimate Wellness and introduced expanded services.

Dr. Steve Zakany, Medical Director
Dr. Steve Zakany is proud to serve as the Medical Director for BAIW. He oversees all medical-based procedures such as PRP & injections. Dr. Zakany has been Board-certified in Family Medicine for 30 years as well as in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. He is a recognized leader in the field of regenerative health and has been at the forefront of innovative technologies for Intimate Wellness. Dr. Zakany is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has practiced medicine in Neptune Beach, Florida; Durango, Colorado and Heidelberg, Germany prior to relocating to Boulder County in 1999. He received his M.D. from the University of South Florida |

Steve Johnson, Client Service Specialist
As a lifelong educator Steve Johnson assists clients in their visit to BAIW, explaining the various innovative regenerative procedures available to them. Steve manages the administrative, technical and marketing aspects of BAIW. His goal is for clients to have an outstanding and relaxed experience that leaves them feeling younger and renewed. |
