What is Vampire Hair Restoration? Regrow your hair without surgery!

Boulder Aesthetics & Intimate Wellness' (BAIW) Vampire Hair Restoration treatment uses PRP to stimulate new hair growth and reactivate the dormant hair stem cells. This forms new blood vessels, draws greater blood flow to the area, and revives the micro-environment around your hair follicles. This results in the strengthening of existing hair and ultimately new hair growth. Our treatment applies PRP sub-dermally through injections and intra-dermally through micro-needling. This treatment is most effective for Androgenic Alopecia, or male and female pattern baldness, but can also treat other types of hair loss.

Vampire Hair Restoration procedure
The Vampire Hair Restoration procedure is performed in our comfortable office and lasts about 1 hour in total duration. First blood is drawn from your arm and we prepare your PRP. A topical numbing cream is applied onto your scalp for an overall comfortable procedure. After about 20 minutes both the PRP will be ready and the numbing cream will be active. Irena then strategically injects your PRP it into areas of your scalp that are in need of enhancement. |

After the injections Irena follows-up with a micro-needling treatment which creates tiny openings in your skin. Your PRP is topically applied to your scalp to boost the regenerative power of the treatment. That's it. The only side effects are minor and temporary bruising, swelling and tenderness from the injections.
How many treatments are recommended
In order to best restore the health of the hair follicles and thicken your hair the treatment protocol involves 3 sessions (2-3 months apart). Women typically respond better than men to hair regrowth and often will just need 1 or 2 treatments. To maintain optimal results, we recommend 1 follow-up treatment per year.
If I am completely bald, will this regrow my hair?
Though treatment yields great results for people suffering from hair thinning, it’s not for people who have areas of complete hair loss as it does not help grow new hair follicles on a bald patch. It can only make the existing thinning hair thicker by strengthening the hair follicles.
